I did well, I helped someone today They spoke directly to me and I elegantly replied. I hear my own words smoothly flow, I find it exciting and wildly strange. It sounds as if someone else is speaking, but it is my own voice the entire time. I listen to the other speaker, his words asking questions to answers he seeks. My competence is well conveyed; his questions being answered as I patiently explain. I observed myself perform, and I loved what I heard; I did well, I helped someone today.

Rot Away

There's something rotting in my chest and it festers like a curse. My soul my mind my everything it's trapped to rot along. I claw at flesh to pry my chest wide open and slice the rot away. But succeed in only exposing something fragile. So I clutch at empty promises of better days ahead but my better days are spent. I feel decay infest the rest of what was strong I know the day is near there's nothing left of me.

Life...it is what it is...

Life is hard and difficult to understand at times.... I will not be positive, and let me explain; When life is slipping through your fingers and lays shattered at your feet, and someone says "stay positive" it is enough to make you want to go postal. Hence, why I will not be "positive," but rather, be neutral. I am acknowledging the pain, but not hiding behind a fake smile. I am choosing to be aware of all the aspects of my life. The semester is over. Wait, let me say it again... The semester is over, over, over. Nope :( It really hasn't hit me yet, but I bet when it does, the next semester will start. :shrug: I am very eager to keep plotting along, but it just feels like it's taking so long. I can't honestly say what I feel. I am too confused. Life is moving, and I don't know where I fall within that realm. I want to move on, to get better, but I am so far behind. But if I keep trying, I will get there, as long as I never give up. Life is so big, and I am so small, it's a daunting thought to try to find my place in this world.
